In Threes Sweater with String Theory Hand Dyed Yarn

I received this yarn in exchange for an honest review.  All opinions are my own.

This knit sweater just might be one of my most favorite projects.  Ever.  The pattern, In Threes, is straightforward and easy to modify.  The yarn, from String Theory Hand Dyed Yarn, is absolutely amazing.  I have to admit, I had a difficult time using this yarn for someone other than myself.

The pattern, In Threes Baby Sweater, can be found on Ravelry.  It's quite the popular pattern.  Almost six thousand knitters have listed their projects on the site.  That's quite a lot!  I found it to be fairly simple.  I did make some adjustments to make it a little bit larger.  I want my daughter to be able to wear this as long as possible!  (Rather embarrassingly, I did not write down any notes as to how I upped the size, however, I'm sure it wasn't too difficult.  Maybe next time, because I will be knitting this pattern again.)

This yarn is awesome.  I really can't say enough good things about it.  It's Tinker Island Fingering from String Theory, Hand Dyed Yarn, INC.  It's a 2 ply 100% superwash domestic merino fingering weight yarn. The color is absolutely stunning.  I kept knitting until I used all 425 luscious yards of this beautiful yarn. I want more of the Tinker Island yarn.  Lots more.  Believe me, you want to give this yarn a try!

The buttons were from my stash, I'm pretty sure they were red tag items from JoAnn's, but I'm pretty sure that these are the same.  The buttons shimmer and change color in the light, which looks amazing with the blue yarn.

Have you knitted the In Threes Sweater? What did you think of it? Are you lucky enough to have been able to work with this yarn? I'd love to hear all about it!

I love sharing my projects around the blogosphere.  Here are some of my favorite link ups
