Yarn Fanatic Party #67

This post may contain affiliate links.

It's a new week!  I can't wait to see what you've all be busy creating.  I finally finished up my Peacock Hood blog post.  (The actual crocheting took me no time at all compared to writing up the pattern.)  I'd love to hear what you think of it!

Link up any of your yarn projects!

The only rule is that everything you link to must be family friendly.

I would appreciate it very much if you:

  • Add a link to the Yarn Fanatic Party to your post or party page.
  • Follow The Philosopher's Wife.
  • Check out some of the other yarn goodies people have finished.
  • Leave comments here, there, and everywhere.  (Please, take a moment to visit at least one other blog and leave a comment.  I want this to be a supportive community of yarn lovers.)
  • If you're not a blogger, but want to participate, feel free to upload a picture from Flicker!  Or even link a Facebook or Twitter photo.  (Just make sure your settings are set to "public" so that we can all see it!)
  • By linking up you are giving me permission to share your photos here on the blog and via social media, with the appropriate credit, of course!
  • Please do NOT link directly to a paid pattern.  You may link to your blog, which in turn links to the pattern.

Yarn Fanatic Party #58

This post may contain affiliate links.

Welcome to the Yarn Fanatic Party! This is a place to share your creations that use yarn, see what others have made, and even enter a giveaway.

Features

This graphgan is magically awesome.  This is such an amazing work of fan art by Jaimee.  (By the way, I'm totally a Harry Potter fan.  I recently was able to visit Hogwarts and Diagon Alley -- it was truly fantastic.)

I love the colors and design of this Melrose Doily.  It's just so . . . happy.  I wonder if the pattern could be repeated to make an afghan?

Finally, this pear is just too adorable!

Giveaway

EyeLoveKnots is sponsoring this month's giveaway!  She is giving away a copy of her beautiful Mocha Caramel Cowl pattern, designed exclusively for the December issue #21 of the Happily Hooked Magazine, as well as a skein each of Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn in Light Taupe and Brown, an I9/5.5mm crochet hook, and a set of tapestry needles.  In a nutshell, everything you need to crochet this cowl yourself!

Yarn Fanatic Party #40

Welcome to the Yarn Fanatic Party!  I'm so happy that you're joining me today! If you're new here, this is a place to link up your projects that used yarn, see what others have made, support one another, and enter a giveaway!  (This week's giveaway is a crochet pattern pack, sponsored by Little Treasures.)

Features
This lanyard is simply adorable.  Be sure to stop by Da's Crochet Connection to get the free pattern.

This work in progress daisy blanket is so cute!

This little doll is great!  I've been saving crochet doll patterns lately, one of these days I will be getting around to actually making one.  (I just love all of the wonderful pictures of this doll!)

Giveaway!
I am pleased to announce that this week's giveaway is being sponsored by Little Treasures.  You have probably seen some of her gorgeous work on her blog, which can be found here.

One lucky winner will receive a pattern pack, which is a collection of four patterns.  Below are some samples of the pattern packs.  I simply love them all!

Details and Important Information: Must be 18+ to enter. US only. Void where prohibited. Winners must respond to my email within 48 hours or a new winner will be chosen. Social media is not affiliated with this giveaway. The sponsor is responsible for prize fulfillment. A quick note to my international friends: I know many of you are disappointed that these giveaways are limited to US only. The problem is that there are hundreds of rules and laws regarding how giveaways are run. It can be very easy to accidentally break the law when international policy comes into play. I simply wish to keep everything as legal as possible, and for now at least that means limiting these giveaways to US entrants. I do hope that you still participate in these Yarn Fanatic Parties and that someday there might be a giveaway that you can enter!

Yarn Fanatic Party #35

Welcome to the thirty-fifth Yarn Fanatic Party!  This is a place to share your yarn-y projects, see what others have made, support one another, and enter a yarn giveaway!

Did you see the Hello Kitty Baby Blanket linked up last week?  It's pretty cute!

You might remember the Hello Kitty Dolls that I made a while ago, but if you don't that's alright too.  Little girls really like this stuff, don't they?

I also really love these spiral coasters!  I need to make something with this spiral technique, it's just too cool!

Have you seen what my Yarn Fanatic Party co-host, Alexandra, posted over the weekend?  A free pattern for a slanted shell afghan.  Doesn't it look cozy?

Giveaway time!

Have you seen the beautiful yarn from String Theory?  Isn't the name clever?  I have to say that was what attracted me to the shop in the first place.  Tanis, the owner, lives and creates in Maine.  (I've traveled through or visited about half of the 50 states, but have yet to make it to Maine.  Someday!)  She has a decade of yarn dying experience, and draws upon a life long love of the fiber arts when creating new yarns for us to use.

Be sure to connect with String Theory Hand Dyed Yarn, Inc. so that you don't miss anything!

I currently have the pleasure of working on a review of this yarn.  Just in case you're wondering, so far I love it!  The colors are beautiful and the yarn is soft.

I know that you're just longing to try this yarn, so I just know that you'll want to enter this giveaway.  If you've already enjoyed creating with this yarn then you know how wonderful it is, so I just know that you need to add more to your stash.  Basically, everyone who knits or crochets would love to enter this giveaway.  (And if you don't knit or crochet, I'm sure you know someone who would love to win this giveaway -- so let them know!)

One lucky winner will receive a $60 Gift Certificate to use at String Theory Hand Dyed Yarn, Inc.

There were so many beautiful projects linked up last week.  As you know, I have a love of bright colors, so this blanket by Lunamon Design simply makes me happy.

I also love these adorable Summer Sandals!  (This is a paid pattern, but it seems quite reasonably priced.)

Both Eye Love Knots and The Philosopher's Wife have been busy too!  Did you see Alexandra's new (free) washcloth pattern?  Or my latest Giraffe & Elephant?

Giveaway!
Don't forget that you can get lots of supplies from Amazon, including yarn.  (Also, if you use any of the Amazon links from my blog I get a small percentage of your purchase.  It doesn't cost you anything extra, but it helps me earn a few pennies.  I greatly appreciate it when you use these affiliate links.  Thanks so much!)

Yarn Fanatic Party #33 (Snappy Tots Crochet Pattern Giveaway)

Welcome to this week's Yarn Fanatic Party!  It's a place to share your projects, see what others have made, support one another, and enter a crochet pattern giveaway.

One of my favorites from last week, and it really is so hard to choose, is this adorable Fat Bottom Bag.  I especially love the flower applique that Laura freestyled.

Here's another project that caught my eye, these bright and cheerful pillow covers:

Are you curious if you were one of the most clicked projects from last week?  EyeLoveKnots has that information for you!  (She also just posted a crochet washcloth pattern review that's worth checking out!)

I am still working on my lacy infinity scarf with the yarn from Tinted Tangles, I shared a peak on Friday.  It should be finished very soon!  I'm pretty happy with how it is turning out!

Giveaway Time!

I am very excited that Snappy Tots is this week's sponsor!  TEN lucky winners will receive one pattern.  That's right, TEN of you!  Read about the many hats that Heidi, the creative genius behind these patterns, wears on a daily basis, I am constantly amazed by all that one woman can do.

Above are three Snappy Tots crochet patterns that I absolutely love and simply need to highlight.  (I love a LOT more, but had to limit myself.)  The Big Brave Dragon is simply fantastic!  Catherine loved the tutu on the Slouchy Backpack.  The Beach Kids hat made me laugh out loud, literally.
