I had high hopes.
The premise is clever.
I've enjoyed other books by Brandon Sanderson.
I like the idea of a secret project.
Sadly, this book didn't quite live up to my expectations. I can't quite say why, but it felt like "work" to get through.

Because I do really enjoy a lot of Sanderson's work, I would like to end on a more positive note. I did really enjoy The Reckoners; that whole series was a fun, quick read!
