Let Me Introduce You to GlassesUSA

The following is a sponsored post written by me for GlassesUSA.  As always, all opinions are entirely mine.

If you've seen just about any picture of me then then you know that I wear glasses.  I've worn them since I was a young teenager.  (I actually prefer the way that I look in glasses -- I think that they help balance my face.)

As a busy, pregnant, Mom I am always looking for ways to make life easier.  Not leaving the house to shop is often one of those ways!  I was recently introduced to GlassesUSA.com.  They make buying eyeglasses online easy!

They have a great selection of glasses for both men and women!  I also really love the virtual mirror feature!  When shopping online sometimes it is hard to know what will look good in person, but this feature helps take away the guesswork!

I really love that they offer a 110% lowest price guarantee and a 100% satisfaction guarantee along with a generous refer-a-friend program, because it's not just about getting cheap eyeglasses but it's about getting a quality product without breaking the bank!

They have generously offered a discount code for my readers! Take 10% off any order of prescription glasses with the code Blog10.  Also, be sure to check out the Sales & Coupons page for current site-wide deals.  (I have to admit the sale page is always my first stop!)

So, after reading this, are you excited to go see if you can find a new pair of eyeglasses for yourself?

7 Quick Takes

ONE
I'm glad it's Friday.  I know that I'm "just" a Stay At Home Mom, but I enjoy (lazy) weekends too!

TWO
We just watched X-Men: First Class this week.  I really enjoyed it!  Have you seen it?  What did you think?

THREE
This week we made a trip to the library.  I've just been borrowing books online with my Kindle and we have lots of books and such for Catherine, so it has actually been a while since our last visit.  However, there were some books that I had reserved and I wanted to get some new kids books.  I borrowed the book Curious Creatures, by David FitzSimmons, and I must say that I highly recommend it!  The pictures are beautiful and the text is informative and amusing.

FOUR
Speaking of books on Kindle, I am currently reading Bob Harper's The Skinny Rules.  I really like him on the Biggest Loser, but I have to say, he doesn't really have a great writing style.  He's a trainer, not an author.  That being said, I do like a lot of what he has to say, and no one can deny that he gets results.

FIVE

How old is the oldest shirt that you somewhat regularly wear?  I have a t-shirt from my 1999 swim team that I like to wear still.  My husband doesn't really understand what I still have/wear this shirt, but I like it!  I loved swimming for the Barracudas so it has so much nostalgia for me, plus we always got large shirts, so it actually fits now!

Did you see my newest pair of glasses?

I need to add some listings to my Etsy shop.  I am participating in A Crafter's Dream Giveaway this month!  It starts this weekend, and my prize is a $25 shop credit!  Dear Reader, I'm curious, have you ever purchased something from Etsy?  Why or why not?

Firmoo Glasses Review

As you've probably noticed, I wear glasses, so I was very excited when Firmoo contacted me and asked me to review a pair of their glasses!  They have a wide selection of fashionable designs, all of which are high quality and affordable.

The pair that I choose can be found {HERE}.  The color is Black with Burgundy.  I love how the red color is somewhat subtle, it gives the glasses some added depth.  The plastic frames are trendy, especially with the side "floating" lenses.

My only complaint is that they are a little larger on my face than I thought they would be.  (This is totally personal preference though!)  Of course, if I had actually used the Virtual Try-On System maybe I would have known this prior to ordering them.  (So, I guess this is my hint to you, dear reader, use all of the tools that Firmoo provides to get the perfect fit!)

Firmoo has a great First Pair Free Program!  That's right, you can get FREE glasses!  Well, you do have to pay shipping, but that's generally pretty inexpensive.  (However, they do only have a limited number of free glasses per day -- so check the site early in the day!)

Even if you don't "need" glasses you should check out Firmoo because all of the frames are also available with non-prescription lenses.  Tons of people wear glasses that they don't "need" as a fashion accessory.  They can add a geeky touch, a modern feel, a vintage vibe, a new look, or whatever you want if you just have the right pair of frames.

I hope that you check out Firmoo!  They seem like a great place to get affordable and fashionable glasses!  I was very happy with the customer service that I received.  Additionally, I was very happy that the glasses came with a hard case, a soft case, screwdriver, and a cleaning cloth.  (The hard case was even pink!)

I received the above mentioned pair of glasses from Firmoo for review.  All opinions are entirely my own and may differ from your own.  To see my full disclosure, go {HERE}.

7 Quick Takes Friday

ONE
I would like to go to the beach.

TWO
I am a big fan of entering giveaways all over blogland.  There are so many neat things out there!  One really cool blog is Etsy Giveaways and it is just what the name says--a blog full of giveaways of just Etsy stuff.  I recently won a really cool prize over At The Picket Fence, this beautiful necklace by Tahra.  I love it!  It is a little darker in person.

THREE
Speaking of jewelry, I have a pair of earrings that I've decided to call "The Forever Backwards Earrings".  They are super cute little hoops with a pink rhinestone encrusted bow on one side.  However, I guess the angle of my ears is wrong because if the bows are pointed in they look backwards, but if I point them out they still look backwards.  Anyone else have a problem like this?

See what I mean?  In the first picture the decoration is pointed towards my face, but the other way the bow is just being put into my hair.

FOUR
Yogurt, peach, and strawberry smoothie=YUM.  I was hoping that Catherine would like this so that she could get some more nutrients into her little body, but sadly she didn't.  However, I am thinking this wouldn't be such a bad way to start everyday for me! (This giant cup is less than 200 calories!)

FIVE
Have you heard of Coastal.com?  If you wear glasses you need to check them out right now.  They are running one of their specials where first time customers get a free pair of glasses.  You do have to pay shipping and handling and if you do any lens upgrades those can get expensive--but I have a pretty basic prescription and I ordered a pair last night and my total was less than $8.  I wanted something different from either of the two pairs that I have (both which I really love) so I chose this pair:
(Yes, there is some pink in this pair!)  I've never ordered glasses online before, but this just seemed like too good of a deal to pass up.

SIX
If you've ever been to craft fair either as a vendor or a customer, I'd love your feedback on my It's Craft Fair Time Again post!

SEVEN
These fish magnets were in Catherine's Easter basket.  I need to learn the names of everything... I just know all the easy ones.
