WIPS: Sweater, Headband, and a Skirt

I haven't made as much progress as I'd like on my sweater, I'm only on row 19!  However, I do like the way the yarn is working up.  (I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that this will actually fit!)

I needed a super quick project, so I started whipping up a crochet headband.  I will be sharing my simple pattern with you soon! (UPDATE: Here's the Easy Scalloped Headband Pattern.)

Even if my knitting hasn't progressed I am happy that I started and finished a sewing project this week!  I made a simple skirt.  I'm working on a blog post on that too, but here's a little teaser.

Also, did you see that I (finally) posted about The Blue Giraffe?

What are you working on this week?  I'll be checking out a lot of the posts linked up with these three wonderful bloggers:

  1. Very nice WIPs :-) I like how you work on different crafts. Looking forward to seeing how you made the headband; I made a couple recently and like to see different ways of making them.

  2. Will be popping back here for the headband pattern - I'm growing out a pixie cut and will need all the hair accessories that I can find if I'm not to loose my cool and cut it all of again.
Would love to know how to make that skirt too.

    1. Just an FYI, the pattern is posted! Good luck with growing your hair out! Pixie cuts are so cute, but it's hard when you're ready to move on to something new. http://philwife.blogspot.com/2014/07/an-easy-scalloped-headband-crochet.html

  3. I love your skirt fabric! It sounds like you really had a productive week regardless of how far you got on your sweater!

  4. The yarn you are using for the sweater looks fabulous - great colour and looks nice and soft.
